Alison came to us looking for a different kind of gym. She wanted to get away from the "Tough Guy", standard MMA gyms where members learn by being shoved into a ring to fight. The "learn by pain" method got old, as she found herself being injured and in recovery more than training.
Jing Shen Kuoshu gave her a new mindset toward sport fighting, martial arts and self defense.
Liking the tactical knowledge, the effectiveness of the techniques taught and the ability to explore other martial arts styles, Alison decided to join the Jing Shen Kuoshu team of instructors.
Alison has been a NASM certified trainer since 2010. As a martial arts instuctor, she has taught private and group programs in Jujitsu, Boxing, Muay Thai and Women's Self Defense. Along with her interest in Martial Arts, she was a competitive gymnast for 7 years, played softball, soccer, and ran track through her high school years.
